Job summary

Brooks Automation in Malaysia is seeking a Test Engineer II to drive end-to-end test capability for capital equipment manufacturing, from initial test bays setup to high-volume production, ensuring quality and readiness. You will shape test strategy, develop procedures, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to optimize yield and reliability.

The role emphasizes DFx/DFT feedback, TME management, and robust ESD controls on the shop floor while enabling continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment manufacturing test engineering.
• Willing to work on 3 rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies for capital equipment, ensuring line ramp readiness.
• Operate/test bays; lead troubleshooting and rapid containment of test failures.
• Analyze test data to identify yield and reliability trends and drive corrective actions.
• Manage Test Measurement Equipment calibration, maintenance, and documentation.
• Ensure ESD controls and compliance on the manufacturing floor; provide on-going training.
