Semtech in Ipoh, Malaysia seeks an experienced Senior Test Engineer to drive test development and optimization for semiconductor products. You will work with the test engineering team to create robust test solutions, analyze data, and improve coverage and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on expertise with ATE platforms, strong C/C++ and Python skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers across multi-site teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in test engineering within the semiconductor industry.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with ATE platforms such as Advantest V93K and Teradyne is desirable.
• Knowledge of digital, mixed-signal, and parametric testing.

Mansioni

• Lead the development and debug of test programs for product validation and characterization.
• Perform in-depth data analysis of test results to identify failure modes, trends, and optimization opportunities.
• Own test hardware setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated test equipment (ATE).
• Document test procedures, specifications, and create technical reports on test coverage and correlation studies.
• Drive test time reduction initiatives and continuous improvements while maintaining test quality and reliability.
