Job summary

Brooks Automation Malaysia SDN. BHD. is seeking a Quality Engineer to establish and sustain high product quality at our Pasir Gudang facility.

You will develop and monitor quality systems, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive continuous improvement to prevent defects and reduce variation. The role requires 5–7 years in quality‑focused semiconductor manufacturing, knowledge of ISO 9001, and experience with APQP, FMEA, DOE, and SPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or Materials Science.
• 5–7 years of relevant quality‑focused experience in semiconductor manufacturing or similar.
• CQE or CRE certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop Quality and Process Control Methods with cross‑functional teams.
• Process Monitoring and Control to ensure defined quality standards.
• Strengthen manufacturing processes through manufacturability assessments to error‑proof products.
