Job summary

HCLTech in Malaysia seeks a Test Engineer with strong manual and automation testing experience across consumer platforms. You will design tests, execute across web and mobile, and collaborate with business and technology teams in an Agile setting.

The role emphasizes developing automated test frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD, and ensuring quality through API testing and defect management. You will engage with stakeholders and support UAT and release readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
• Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, RestAssured, or similar.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple systems and projects.

Responsibilities
