Job summary

Pride Global is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our APAC Consumer Servicing Technology team. You will ensure the quality and reliability of customer-facing systems across digital platforms, CRM, contact centre, and AI solutions.

The role combines manual and automation testing, requiring ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently across multiple systems and projects. Experience in banking/financial services is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software testing / QA experience.
• Strong hands-on in both manual and automated testing.
• Experience developing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, RestAssured or equivalent.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and test/defect management tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, end-to-end, and exploratory testing.
• Validate UI/UX across web and mobile applications.
• Support UAT, defect tracking, investigation, and resolution.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for regression and smoke testing.
• Identify suitable test cases for automation and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and analyse automation results and troubleshoot test failures.
• Perform API testing and support test environment and data management.
• Collaborate with BAs, developers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Track test progress, coverage, defects, and overall quality status.
• Ensure testing activities comply with quality, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, end-to-end, and exploratory testing.

• Proficiency with test and defect management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple systems and projects.

Preferred

• Experience in banking, insurance, or other financial services.
• Experience testing consumer-facing digital platforms, CRM, contact centre, or AI solutions.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps, including Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with performance/load testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
• ISTQB Foundation/Advanced or equivalent certification.
