Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a mid-level to principal-level Test Development Engineer to design and implement ATE hardware and software for precision timing devices. You will drive test strategies from kickoff through end-of-life, bridging hardware design, software, and production with hands-on lab work.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years of ATE experience, and strong C++ skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent programming skills with C++.

Responsibilities

• Define the ATE test flow and test plan for new products.
• Engage with design team on Design for Test (DFT) features.
• Specify ATE test hardware and software.
• Develop the ATE test software on standard ATE platforms, such as Teradyne ETS-88.
• Lead release-to-production activities.
• Support product launches into high-volume production.
• Lead yield enhancement and cost reduction projects.
• Support other projects as needed by management or business needs.

A mid-level to principal-level Test Development Engineer is responsible for developing hardware and software solutions for precision timing devices. From the initial product development kickoff through end of life, the ATE Test Development Engineer defines ATE test hardware and software and supports the launch of new products into high-volume production. This includes board level

hardware design, algorithm development, software implementation, and validation on both custom and standard automated test equipment (ATE) platforms. We are looking for a highly motivated individual interested in collaborating with cross-functional

teams to execute the following responsibilities:

• Define the ATE test flow and test plan for new products
• Engage with design team on Design for Test (DFT) features
• Specify ATE test hardware and software
• Develop the ATE test software on standard ATE platforms, such as Teradyne ETS-88
• Lead release-to-production activities
• Support product launches into high-volume production
• Lead yield enhancement and cost reduction projects
• Support other projects as needed by management or as business needs evolve

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Background in ATE development for mixed-signal ICs. Hands-on experience with ATE platforms such as Teradyne's ETS-364, ETS-88, or UltraFLEX preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of analog electronics and experience with board-level troubleshooting and debug.
• Experience in statistical analysis of test data.
• Hands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentation; prior experience with metrology systems for evaluating timing parameters is preferred but not required.
• Excellent programming skills and prior experience with C++.
