Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced test engineering professional to lead the development and validation of automatic test equipment (ATE) programs, ensuring robust coverage of IP content with cross‑functional collaboration with design and architecture teams.

The role focuses on building scalable test infrastructure, evaluating new features, and advancing test methodologies to support high‑volume production while driving quality improvements and efficient debugging of returns.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing ATE test programs and patterns.
• Familiar with JTAG, BIST, and HSIO concepts.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in languages such as C, C++, Java, Ruby, Perl, or Python.
• Familiarity with version control systems.
• Competence in statistical analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems.
• Solid understanding of modern computer architecture.
• BS/MS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IP design, validation, and architecture teams to ensure comprehensive IP content coverage, and to develop, validate, and debug test patterns.
• Build and maintain test program infrastructure, leveraging the latest Best Known Methods.
• Evaluate and validate new product features, test conditions, methodologies, and test patterns.
• Conduct silicon characterization across various process, voltage, and temperature conditions.
• Correlate and release test programs for high-volume production environments.
• Lead initiatives to improve Key Performance Indicators, focusing on reducing test time, debugging yield issues, and enhancing product quality.
• Provide support for product qualification processes and assist in debugging customer returns.
