Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced test automation engineer to design and develop automated test frameworks for hardware and firmware, from board-level tests to end-of-line validation. You will build reliable test software in Python, C/C++, or LabVIEW and integrate it into CI/CD pipelines.

You will define test strategies, develop validation plans, analyze yield and quality data, and create clear documentation and training materials for operations.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years building automated tests for electronic products or embedded systems.
• Proficiency in at least one language for test automation (Python, C/C++, LabVIEW) and with lab/test equipment.
• Experience with hardware interfaces (SPI/I2C/UART/CAN), fixtures, and test instrumentation; reading schematics.
• Familiarity with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins) and configuration/version control.
• Strong debugging skills across HW/FW/SW boundaries; data-driven mindset with tools like pandas, SQL.
• Bonus: end-of-line (EOL) manufacturing test, ICT/FCT, boundary scan/JTAG, NI/TestStand, PXI, or RF test; SPC/CPK/GR&R.

What do we need from you (Job Requirements)

• 3–7+ years building automated tests for electronic products or embedded systems (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in at least one language for test automation (e.g., Python, C/C++, LabVIEW) and with lab/test equipment (DMMs, scopes, power supplies).
• Experience with hardware interfaces (SPI/I2C/UART/CAN), fixtures, and test instrumentation; comfortable reading schematics.
• Familiarity with CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins) and configuration/version control.
• Strong debugging skills across HW/FW/SW boundaries; data-driven mindset with tools like pandas, SQL, or similar.
• Bonus: end-of-line (EOL) manufacturing test, ICT/FCT, boundary scan/JTAG, NI/TestStand, PXI, or RF test; statistical methods (SPC/CPK/GR&R).
