Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned leader to direct the Test Engineering organization, ensuring robust support for production, new product introductions, qualification, product transfers, and meeting customer requirements.
The role owns engineering KPIs including Yield, FPY, OEE, retest rate, test cost and customer escalation closure, drives daily operations by prioritizing resources, and mentors Test Product Engineers and Technicians across shifts to deliver quality results.

Lead and manage the Test Engineering organization to support production, NPI, qualification, product transfer and customer requirements.
Own engineering KPIs including Yield, FPY, OEE, Retest Rate, LOH, Test Cost, Device, Test Time Accuracy, Customer Complaints and Customer Escalation Closure.
Drive daily engineering operations by prioritizing resources and ensuring timely resolution of production, yield, test program and equipment related issues.
Lead daily LOH management, customer disposition activities, yield excursion investigations and escalation processes to minimize shipment impact and support business commitments.
Drive yield improvement, retest reduction, OEE optimization, test cost reduction and continuous improvement initiate.
Own and maintain the device test time database to ensure accurate test times for production planning, capacity management, costing and customer quotations.
Lead customer NPI programs, engineering builds, product transfers, characterization, qualification and production ramp activities.
Own customer quality issues including customer complaints, customer returns, failure investigations, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and timely closure of 8D reports.
Act as the primary engineering escalation point for customers and lead technical reviews, yield discussions, audits and business review meetings.
Lead, coach, and develop Test Product Engineer and Process Technicians across all production shifts through active technical involvement, mentoring, performance management and succession planning.
Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, Planning and Quality teams to achieve operational and business objectives.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related engineering discipline. Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
Minimum 12–15 years of experience in semiconductor test, product engineering, NPI or manufacturing engineering.
Minimum 3–5 years of people management experience leading engineering teams.
Strong experience in semiconductor OSAT, IDM or high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environments.
Strong hands‑on knowledge of ATE platforms and semiconductor handlers.
Strong knowledge of Yield Management, SPC, OCAP, FMEA, Control Plan, 8D, CAPA, DOE and statistical problem‑solving methodologies.
Experience supporting analog, mixed‑signal, MCU, power management, automotive, industrial or sensor semiconductor products.
Strong multitasking, prioritization and decision‑making skills with the ability to manage multiple high‑impact activities simultaneously in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, project management, coaching and presentation skills.
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams, develop engineering talent and drive business results while remaining hands on when required.
Willing to support critical production activities, customer escalations, weekends and public holidays when required.
