Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hardware test engineer with 4–5 years of experience to plan and execute pattern bring-up, characterization, and OSAT qualification. You will support HTOL and package qualification, and work with the AMD Package and HWI teams to ensure hardware readiness.

You will develop ATE test programs for Verigy 93K, perform failure analysis, and drive test-content readiness and yield improvements throughout manufacturing and post-manufacturing lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant working experience; CPU / GPU product or IP experience is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Scan, MBIST, Functional test, analog-mixed-signal and high-speed I/O test.
• Experience with Ethernet, Fuse, IOSPEC, JTAG, DDR, PCIE, PLL, RESET, Ring Oscillator, static / dynamic IDD, high-voltage stress, thermal test, xGMI.
• OSAT qualification for manufacturing testing experience.
• A background in ATE test-flow development and test-content implementation with Verigy 93K.
• Statistical data analysis ability.
• Unix and Windows proficiency; scripting in Python, Perl or Java; understanding of digital-testing fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Quality team on RMA debug and hit target DPPM.
• Conduct OSAT qualification for manufacturing testing.
• Provide full-cycle support for manufacturing and post-manufacturing product lifecycle.

Job Requirements

1. 1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
2. 2. Professional experience: Minimum 4-5 years of relevant working experience; CPU / GPU product or IP experience is highly preferred.
3. 3. Technical expertise in Test IP and DFT: hands-on experience with Scan, MBIST, Functional test, analog-mixed-signal and high-speed I/O test. Practical exposure to Ethernet, Fuse, IOSPEC, JTAG, DDR, PCIE, PLL, RESET, Ring Oscillator, static / dynamic IDD, high-voltage stress, thermal test, xGMI.
4. 4. Solid experience in OSAT qualification for manufacturing testing, as well as manufacturing and post-manufacturing product lifecycle support.
5. 5. Hands-on ATE experience on Verigy 93K: ATE test-flow development, test-content implementation, pattern debug and failure debug; practical operation of ATE tester and handler; develop and integrate test programs for manufacturing and characterization.
6. 6. Capable of statistical data analysis.
7. 7. Proficient with Unix and Windows; scripting skills in Python, Perl or Java; solid understanding of digital-testing fundamentals.
8. 8. Strong capability to identify, define and resolve technical issues.
9. 9. Self-driven, independent, good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
