Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Area Sales Executive to drive sales performance and market growth across an assigned territory. You will manage relationships with GYAC retailers, ensure timely order processing, and coordinate tire supply from Shah Alam warehouse to customers, while keeping customers satisfied.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Marketing.
• 3–5 years of customer service experience in related industry.
• Strong key account management and selling skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Speak local dialects.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in the territory.
• Drive volume and revenue growth by engaging customers and promoting products.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
• Build and maintain relationships with GYAC direct retailers and channel partners.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Monitor customer buying patterns and provide insights for planning.
• Implement trade marketing and promotional activities to boost brand visibility.
• Conduct regular visits to retail outlets to ensure merchandising standards.
• Identify, monitor, and report competitor activities.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans and submit KPI reports.
• Collaborate with Direct Sales Manager and cross-functional teams.
• Provide field feedback to support sales/marketing strategies.
