Job summary

Koperasi Kakitangan PETRONAS Berhad (KOPETRO) is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive sales growth across the assigned territory in Malaysia. You will identify new opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and support the achievement of sales targets.

Responsibilities include managing accounts, processing orders, and providing timely support to customers while monitoring market developments and maintaining accurate records. Travel within the territory is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Business, Marketing, Sales, Management or a related field.
• Sales experience is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented and comfortable dealing with customers.
• Self-motivated and able to work towards sales targets.
• Good organisational and follow-up skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to travel within the assigned territory.
• Possession of a valid driving licence and own transportation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with existing customers.
• Introduce and sell the company's products and services to customers.
• Manage customer accounts and ensure all required documents are properly maintained.
• Process customer orders and follow up on order status.
• Follow up with customers on outstanding payments when required.
• Visit customers and outlets to understand their requirements and provide appropriate support.
• Monitor customer needs, competitor activities and general market developments.
• Maintain accurate customer, outlet and sales records.
• Prepare regular sales reports and customer visit reports.
