Qualifications

• Proven experience in outbound telesales, telemarketing or a similar sales role within a call centre environment.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate product benefits clearly and persuasively.
• Excellent listening skills and the ability to identify customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
• Resilience and confidence to handle rejection and maintain motivation in a target-driven environment.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Proficiency with telephone systems, CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently whilst being part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping and follow-up activities.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills such as Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia are advantageous.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and adaptability to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Making outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce products and services and identify sales opportunities.
• Qualifying leads and understanding customer needs to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Presenting product features and benefits clearly and persuasively to encourage conversions.
• Negotiating terms and closing sales to meet or exceed individual and team targets.
• Maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions and sales activities within the CRM system.
• Following up with interested prospects to progress them through the sales pipeline.
• Handling customer objections professionally and finding solutions to overcome barriers to sale.
• Collaborating with team members to share best practices and support collective sales goals.
• Providing feedback to management on market trends and customer feedback.
• Adhering to company policies, scripts and compliance procedures during all customer interactions.
