We are seeking a Telemarketing Clerk to join our sales team at YOON SOON (M) SDN BHD. This is a full-time position based in Skudai, Johor. As a Telemarketing Clerk, you will play a vital role in our sales operations by making outbound calls to potential and existing customers, promoting our products and services, and generating leads for the organisation. This position is essential to driving our sales pipeline and maintaining strong customer relationships through direct communication.

Key responsibilities

• Making outbound calls to prospects and customers to introduce products and services
• Presenting product features and benefits in a compelling and persuasive manner
• Identifying customer needs and qualifying leads for the sales team
• Recording call details, customer information and follow-up actions in the company database
• Handling customer enquiries and providing information about products and services
• Maintaining detailed call logs and preparing reports on telemarketing activities
• Following up with leads and prospects to progress opportunities through the sales pipeline
• Achieving daily and monthly targets for calls, leads generated and sales conversions
• Adhering to all company policies and telemarketing regulations during customer interactions

What we're looking for

• Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate product information clearly
• Strong listening skills and the ability to identify customer needs and concerns
• Proven experience in a telemarketing, customer service or sales support role
• Proficiency in using telephone systems, CRM software and MS Office applications
• Ability to work independently and meet or exceed set targets and KPIs
• Resilience and a positive attitude towards rejection and objection handling
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in record-keeping
• A professional manner and friendly demeanour when interacting with customers
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are advantageous
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or sales certification is desirable
