Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Tekla Drafter with steel structures knowledge to join our drafting team. Must have hands-on experience with Tekla Structures and AutoCAD, and knowledge of Steel Construction/Steel Structure.

Responsibilities include developing and editing detailed shop drawings for steel erection, coordinating with the Project team for input, calculating dimensions and weight, and ensuring designs meet regulations and quality standards. Added advantage for BIM tools.

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizen required.
• Must have hands-on Tekla Structures experience.
• Must have knowledge of Steel Construction/Steel Structure.
• Experience in Steel Detailing, Shop Drawing and Fabrication Drawing preferred.
• Minimum 2 years AutoCAD drafting experience for candidates without Tekla certification.
• AutoCAD knowledge essential; familiarity with other 3D software (SolidWorks, etc.) an asset.
• Hardworking, responsible and willing to learn; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

TEKLA DRAFTER (Steel Structures Knowledge)

Required Skill(s): Tekla Structures & AutoCAD

Must have hands-on experience with Tekla Structures - this is a mandatory requirement.

Must have knowledge or working experience in Steel Construction / Steel Structure.

Experience in Steel Detailing, Shop Drawing and Fabrication Drawing is preferred.

Candidate without technical certification required minimum 2 years AutoCAD drafting experience.

Knowledge in AutoCAD is essential. Experience in other 3D software such as SolidWorks and others is an added advantage.

Hardworking, responsible and willing to learn.

Able to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines.

Willing to work overtime when required.

• Good knowledge of steel structure and experience in Autodesk Revit, SketchUp, or BIM (3D Modelling)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Able to meet demanding work schedules
