Job summary

Greenibs Consult is seeking a Senior Drafter to prepare detailed civil and structural drawings for earthworks, drainage, roads, and utilities. You will coordinate with engineers, consultants, and authorities to ensure drawings meet project standards and quality expectations.

Experience in infrastructure and structural drafting is essential, with exposure to geotechnical earthwork drawings being a major advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of drafting experience in civil/structural projects.
• AutoCAD or Civil 3D certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings for earthworks, drainage, roads, utilities, and geotechnical works.
• Produce GA drawings, sections, and reinforcement detailing as needed.
• Revise drawings based on design changes and site feedback.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and authorities for design alignment.
• Liaise with teams to ensure standards and quality compliance.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D; Revit knowledge a plus; maintain revision records.
• Attend design and site coordination meetings and update drawings accordingly.

The Senior Drafter will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and documentation for civil and structural projects, covering earthworks, drainage, roadworks, utilities, and geotechnical-related works. The role requires close coordination with engineers, consultants, and authorities to ensure drawings meet project requirements, standards, and quality expectations. Experience in both infrastructure and structural drafting is highly valued while exposure to geotechnical and earthwork-related drawings will be a major advantage.

Role Overview

The Senior Drafter will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and documentation for civil and structural projects, covering earthworks, drainage, roadworks, utilities, and geotechnical-related works. The role requires close coordination with engineers, consultants, and authorities to ensure drawings meet project requirements, standards, and quality expectations. Experience in both infrastructure and structural drafting is highly valued while exposure to geotechnical and earthwork-related drawings will be a major advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drafting & Documentation

• Prepare detailed drawings covering earthworks, drainage, roadworks, utilities, retaining structures, foundations, slopes, and other related engineering works.
• Produce general arrangement drawings, sections, and detailed reinforcement drawings where needed.
• Revise and update drawings based on design changes and site feedback.

2. Structural Drafting (Added Advantage)

• Prepare drawings for reinforced concrete and steel structures when required.
• Collaborate with structural engineers for design intent and detailing.

3. Coordination & Technical Support

• Liaise with engineers, consultants, and authorities for design coordination.
• Ensure alignment of drawings across disciplines.
• Provide technical support and drawing clarifications during construction.

4. Standards Compliance & Quality Control

• Ensure all drawings comply with local authority requirements and industry standards.
• Perform self-checks and assist in drawing quality reviews.

5. CAD/BIM Management

• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D; Revit experience is a plus.
• Maintain well-organized digital drawing files and revision records.
• Support the development of CAD/BIM standards.

6. Project & Site Support

• Attend design and site coordination meetings as required.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and updating drawings accordingly.
• Incorporate relevant site information and changes into drawings where required.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related fields. Certification in AutoCAD or Civil 3D is preferred.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of drafting experience, with strong experience in civil and structural projects. Ability to produce both civil and structural drawings is preferred. Exposure to earthworks, retaining structures, foundations, or slope-related works will be an added advantage.

Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; Revit knowledge is beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of civil/infrastructure and structural detailing.
• Familiarity with earthworks, foundations, retaining structures, and related site works is an advantage.
