Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a dedicated professional to operate a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and ensure compliance with DOE standards. You will prepare reports, supervise sludge handling, manage chemical storage, and troubleshoot issues, coordinating with Production, QC, Maintenance and Safety teams.

The role requires a diploma in Environmental Engineering or related field, 1–2 years' WWTP experience, and knowledge of laboratory testing procedures; DOE regulations familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Water Technology, or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant WWTP operations experience.
• Familiar with operation and maintenance of WWTP equipment and laboratory testing procedures.
• Knowledge of DOE regulations is a plus.
• CePIETSO-PCP/BP certification preferred; CePSWaM is an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and manage responsibilities.

Job Scope

Requirement

• Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Water Technology, or related field OR
• 1-2 years of relevant working experience in wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) operations.
• Familiar with the operation and maintenance of WWTP equipment, as well as laboratory testing procedures.
• Knowledge of the Department of Environment (DOE) regulations is an added advantage.
• Certified Competent Person (CePIETSO-PCP/BP) preferred, with strong technical capabilities and hands-on experience in maintaining wastewater treatment system.

• Mon - Fri : 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Sat : 8:00am - 1:00pm
