Job summary

ibis Styles Johor Iskandar Puteri is seeking a maintenance professional to supervise and perform hotel maintenance and safety tasks under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. The role focuses on keeping facilities in top condition, ensuring guest comforts, and adhering to Accor policies.

The successful candidate will lead a team, safeguard assets, and drive energy-saving initiatives while maintaining high equipment standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• At least Professional Certificate or Diploma.
• Able to understand English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• At least 3 years of working experience and specialized in maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible and directs all aspects of maintenance and safety activities in the hotel.
• Engender team spirit and motivation in staff according to the hotel's business objectives and the Group's vision.
• Ensure the properties and interests of the Hotel's guests and employees are safeguarded against loss, damages or untoward incidents.
• Guarantee a high standard of equipment maintenance.
• In the event of any emergency, take immediate action under the Hotel's standing regulations and notify Management.
• Coordinate and manage regulatory procedures and follow-up processes for the hotel's installations; track and optimize energy consumption; implement preventative programs.

Job Description

The incumbent will be under the general guidance and supervision of the Maintenance Manager, and within the limits established by ACCOR Corporate/maintenance policy and procedures. Responsible and directs all aspects of maintenance and safety activities in the hotel.

To engender team spirit and motivation in all staff according to the hotel's business objectives as well as the Group's vision. To ensure the properties and interests of the Hotel's guests and employees are safeguard against loss, damages or another untoward incident. To guarantees a high standard of equipment maintenance.

In the event of any emergency, to make immediate action as required under the Hotel's standing regulations and to notify the Management immediately of the action taken. Responsible for the technical smooth running and maintenance of the hotel's installation and to coordinate as well as to manage the regulatory procedure and to follow up processes. To track and optimizes energy consumption, implement and follow up the preventative program.
