Job summary

Accor's ibis Styles Johor Iskandar Puteri is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will work under the Maintenance Manager to uphold maintenance policies and ensure safe, smooth hotel operations.

The role requires at least 1 year in maintenance, fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and professional certification in maintenance. You will monitor energy use, execute preventive maintenance, and coordinate regulatory procedures to keep facilities in top condition.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a professional certification and specialization in maintenance.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of Maintenance Manager, implement maintenance policies.
• Ensure hotel properties and guest interests are safeguarded.
• Respond to emergencies and notify management of actions.
• Track energy consumption and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain smooth operation of hotel installations and coordinate regulatory procedures.

Job Description

1. Under the general guidance and supervision of the Maintenance Manager, and within the limits established by ACCOR Hotels Corporate/maintenance policies and procedures.

2. To be responsible and directs all aspects of maintenance policies and procedures.

3. To ensure the properties and interests of the Hotel's guest and employees are safeguard against loss, damages or another toward incident.

4. In the event of emergency, to make immediate action as required under the Hotel's standing regulations and to notify the management immediately of the action taken.

5. To track and optimizes energy consumption, implement and follow up the preventive maintenance program and to guarantees a high standard of equipment maintenance.

6. Responsible for the technical smooth running and maintenance of the hotel's installation and to coordinate as well as to manage the regulatory procedures and to follow up processes.

Qualifications

1. Possess at least Professional Certification and specialized in Maintenance.

2. To be conversational fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

3.At least 1 year of working experience in the related field.
