Job summary

ibis Styles Johor Iskandar Puteri is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and safety activities across the hotel, ensuring reliable operation of all systems.

Under guidance of ACCOR policies, you will supervise the engineering team, manage energy consumption, and coordinate emergency responses, while upholding ACCOR values.

Qualifications

• At least Professional Certificate or Diploma.
• Able to understand English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• At least 3 years of working experience and specialized in maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible and directs all aspects of maintenance and safety activities in the hotel.
• Engender team spirit and motivation in all staff according to the hotel's business objectives and the Group's vision.
• To ensure the properties and interests of the Hotel's guests and employees are safeguarded against loss, damages or another untoward incident.
• To guarantee a high standard of equipment maintenance.
• In case of any emergency, to take immediate action and notify the Management immediately of the action taken.
• Responsible for the technical smooth running and maintenance of the hotel's installation and to coordinate regulatory procedures and follow-up processes.
• To track and optimize energy consumption, implement and follow up the preventative program.

Job Description

The incumbent will be under the general guidance and supervision of the Maintenance Manager, and within the limits established by ACCOR Corporate/maintenance policy and procedures. Responsible and directs all aspects of maintenance and safety activities in the hotel.
