Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a technician with a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering to schedule, guide and supervise daily operation tasks for sewage/water facilities, ensuring work is completed satisfactorily and safely in compliance with IWK policies.

The role requires 2-3 years of relevant experience in sewage or related industries, with duties including inspection, troubleshooting, and timely reporting of service findings to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 2-3 years experience in sewage/water or other related industries

Responsibilities

• Schedule, guide and supervise daily operation tasks to ensure jobs are completed satisfactorily
• Supervise inspection, checking, troubleshooting and rectification on all mechanical and electrical equipment
• Supervise responsive services on all mechanical and electrical equipment
• Report to supervisor on action taken to achieve targeted level of service and performance standards
• Ensure safety and safe working procedures are followed at all times
• Comply with IWK policy and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and submit service and equipment reports and records to superior on time
• Carry out other related duties as assigned by IWK staff
