Job summary

Bacteria Free Water Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a on-site Welding/Plumbing technician to install water treatment systems, rainwater harvesting, pumps, and piping. You will plan solutions, troubleshoot on-site issues, and report progress to engineers.

You must hold a Professional Certificate/Diploma in Welding or Plumbing, be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and possess TIG welding and piping knowledge.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate/Diploma in Welding, Plumbing, or equivalent.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Solid knowledge of TIG welding and piping systems.
• Valid driving license (B2 and D) with own motorcycle.
• Familiar with Penang area routes.

Responsibilities

• Install Water Treatment Systems, Rainwater Harvesting (RWH), IC & ER, pumps, piping, and frontal piping on site
• Plan and develop solutions for customers, including troubleshooting
• Report daily job progress to Project Supervisor/Engineers
• Gain in-depth knowledge of all company products and liaise effectively with customers
• Carry out scheduled service and maintenance works
• Attend to repair jobs, customer complaints, and troubleshooting requests
• Escalate unresolved complaints to superiors with suggestions/solutions
• Perform data entry for warehouse stock management and maintain stock levels
• Ensure dispensers, filters, and components are correctly labeled and packed

This role combines project-based work, retail customer service, and warehouse operations. You will perform welding works, install water treatment systems, rainwater harvesting, pumps, and piping on site. You will plan and develop solutions for customers, troubleshoot issues, and report daily progress. You will also gain in-depth knowledge of company products, carry out scheduled service and maintenance works, attend to repair jobs and customer complaints, and support warehouse operations including stock management, labeling, packing, and filing.
