Job summary

Darco Water Systems Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking an operator to run WWTP, WTP, and RODI systems during normal hours and to perform routine inspections on pumps, blowers, valves and dosing equipment. You will record parameters, collect samples, and maintain daily logs in a clean, safe working environment.

The role requires following SOPs and EHS rules, assisting contractors, reporting abnormalities, and supporting emergency standby duties as needed. Training and safety gear will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor WWTP, WTP, and RODI systems during normal working hours.
• Perform routine inspections on pumps, blowers, valves, dosing systems, and instruments.
• Record operational parameters and update daily log sheets.
• Collect water samples and perform basic water quality testing as required.
• Carry out chemical preparation and dosing according to operating procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting on equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure work areas comply with safety requirements.
• Report equipment abnormalities, process upsets, and breakdowns to the Supervisor.
• Assist contractors and vendors during maintenance and servicing activities.
• Follow SOPs, EHS requirements, and client site regulations at all times.
• Support emergency response and standby duties when required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Site Engineer.
