Job summary

Malaysia Airports Berhad is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to execute timely operation and maintenance of airport systems and facilities, ensuring reliability and serviceability in alignment with standards. You will work with SAP/CMMS and document data for reporting.

The role emphasizes adherence to local regulations, strong problem-solving, and ability to coordinate with teams on projects, emergencies, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics / Mechanical.
• 1–3 years relevant experience for SKM Level 2/3.
• 5 years relevant experience for SPM or SPMV holders.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Execute timely operation and maintenance to ensure highest level of system availability and reliability.
• Abide by policies, procedures, regulations and certifications (EMS, OHSAS).
• Maintain data and information accurately for reporting on airport systems and facilities.

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Execute timely the maintenance works and ensuring the works done are accordingly to the specified maintenance standards, best practices and quality so as to ensure the serviceability and reliability of facilities as well as operational efficiency and cost optimization.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Execute timely the operation and maintenance to ensure highest level of system availability and reliability.
• Abide by Companys policies, procedures, guidelines, local/international regulations and legislations, quality management system, EMS, OHSAS and any other certifications.
• Maintain data and information accurately for reporting on the assigned airport systems and facilities.
• Keep abreast of new technology in order to properly plan for future enhancement and efficiency improvement of the assigned airport system and facilities.
• Participation on the special projects in order to ensure the assigned airport system and facilities requirements are properly addressed.
• Assist trouble shooting efficiently and timely during any system crisis and emergency situation.
• Participation on the project and contract management.
• Maintain technical data and inputs for continuous improvement action.
• Entry operation and maintenance data timely.
• Optimum usage of the available resources for operation and maintenance activities.
• Fully utilize IT tools i.e. SAP, CMMS.
• Keeps abreast with the latest technology and best practices in the industries.

Relevant Industries

Qualifications

• Fresh Graduates with a Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics / Mechanical / Building Services / Civil Engineering or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience for Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM Level 2 / Level 3).
• 5 years of relevant working experience for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vokasional (SPMV) holders.

Experience

• Preferred Industries: Airport Operations, Aviation & Ground Support Services, Facilities Management (FM), Commercial & Industrial Property Maintenance, Building Automation & Infrastructure Services.
• Functional Experience: Hands-on Preventative (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM), emergency fault troubleshooting and crisis response, system availability monitoring, usage of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS/SAP), technical reporting and root-cause analysis, and assisting in vendor, contractor, or project contract administration.
• Preferably a male technician, able to communicate clearly and fluently in good manners.

Education

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics/ Mechanical.
