Job summary

Kitron Electronics Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Kulai, Malaysia seeks an ICT/FCT Test Technician to handle production test failures, calibrate test equipment, and optimize test programs. You will document findings, prepare work instructions, and ensure 5S/ESD compliance while separating RoHS tools.

Responsibility includes FCT/ICT testing on PCBA and HLA products, supporting new product test setup, and interpreting test logs. 1–2 years in electronics/EMS and IPC knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of work experience in electronic companies or EMS companies.
• Familiar with ISO quality system and relevant IPC standards.
• Possess engineering thinking and logical mind.
• Familiar with Viscom AOI and Ersa Reflow.

Responsibilities

• Handle ICT/FCT test failures during production and support line changeovers.
• Calibrate, maintain, and repair production test equipment daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Optimize ICT test programs to reduce downtime.
• Analyze ICT/FCT test failures and document findings in reports.
• Prepare and maintain ICT/FCT test work instructions.
• Maintain 5S and ESD practices; separate RoHS/non-RoHS tools.
• Perform FCT & ICT testing on PCBA and HLA products per customer requirements.
• Support setup of FCT tester for new products.
• Read and interpret FCT tester log files and test logs.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers and production on RCA.

Job description

Responsible for handling ICT/FCT test failures during production and ensuring quick line changeovers

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly calibration, maintenance, and repair of production test equipment

Optimize ICT test programs to reduce downtime

Analyze ICT/FCT test failures and document findings in test analysis reports

Prepare and maintain ICT/FCT test work instructions (WI)

Maintain proper 5S and ESD practices; ensure separation of RoHS and non-RoHS tools

Perform FCT & ICT testing on PCBA’s & HLA products according to customer test requirements.

Support of set-up FCT tester for new products.

Understand of basic test equipment used such as Keysight DMM meter, power supply unit, LAN routers and etc.

Collaborates with Test Engineers and production for FCT test findings, failures & RCA analysis.

Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration of test equipment.

Perform troubleshooting of PCBA’s and circuits failures.

Able to read FCT tester log files and understand test log files.
