Job summary

IoTronix is seeking a proactive engineer to fix defective products, analyze faults, and support production with reports to improve yield.

You will lead fault analysis on PCBA and SMT processes, manage the debug team, and drive cost-saving improvements through data-driven testing and timely closure of defects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Improve testing capacity and detection rate.
• Repair and analyze defective products in the product line.
• Manage the debug team and ensure timely closure of defects in production.
• Provide daily analysis and summary reports to assist the production team in improving yield.
• Participate in fault analysis and generate failure analysis reports to improve yield.
• Reduce loss of maintenance materials and scrap rate to save costs.
• Perform component level analysis on faults and adjust PCBA settings.
• Assist in improving production yield and propose improvement measures.
• Summarize and analyze test results, track tests, and provide feedback.

Job description

• This role involves fixing defective products, improving testing and yield, analyzing faults, and supporting production with reports and suggestions.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve testing capacity and detection rate.
• Responsible for repairing and analyzing defective products in the product line.
• Manage the debug team, achieve the clearance and closure of defective products, and meet the timely closure of production lines.
• Provide daily analysis and summary reports to assist the production team in continuously improving product yield.
• Participate in batch or abnormal fault analysis, generate failure analysis reports, and share them with the team to improve yield.
• Reduce the loss rate of maintenance materials and control the scrap rate of maintenance products to save costs for the company.
• Perform component level analysis on the faults that occur and perform system settings on the PCBA.
• Assist in improving production yield, lead the analysis of functional defects that occur during the testing phase of products and propose improvement measures.
• Propose further improvement suggestions for the product and evaluate whether the improvement plan is reasonable.
• Summarize and statistically analyze the test results, track the tests, and provide feedback.
• Any ad-hoc tasks as per assigned by the manager.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or a related field.
