Job summary

LINKWING CLOUD TECH MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a TE test engineer/technician to oversee ICT testing planning for circuit boards, develop testing schemes and specifications, and coordinate material collection for outsourcing fixtures and procedures.

The role includes accepting, debugging, and verification activities, handling test abnormalities, and improving test procedures for yield and efficiency. Collaboration with customers and training of staff are required.

Qualifications

• College degree or above in electronics or computer-related fields.
• 1–2 years of experience as a TE test engineer/technician in electronics industry.
• Familiarity with ICT testing principles.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; bilingual proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan ICT testing for circuit boards and formulate testing schemes and specifications.
• Collect materials for outsourcing fixtures and procedures; conduct acceptance, debugging and verification.
• Handle test abnormalities, improve processes and optimize test procedures for yield and efficiency.
• Lead introduction, selection, debugging and acceptance of new testing equipment and fixtures.
• Train test personnel and coordinate with customers on testing requirements; manage test-related documents.

Job description

This role involves responsibility for ICT (including pin insertion) testing plan for circuit boards, formulation of testing schemes and specifications, and collection of necessary materials for product position outsourcing fixtures and procedures, conducting acceptance, debugging, and verification.

Key responsibilities

Be responsible for the ICT (including pin insertion) testing plan for circuit boards, as well as the formulation of testing schemes and specifications

Be responsible for collecting the necessary materials for product position outsourcing fixtures and procedures, conducting acceptance, debugging, and verification

Be responsible for handling test abnormalities, improving the process, optimizing test procedures, and enhancing test yield, efficiency, and coverage

Lead the introduction, selection, debugging, and acceptance of new testing equipment and test fixtures

Be responsible for training test personnel, coordinating with customers for testing requirements, and managing the control of test-related technical documents

Be responsible for stress testing planning and requirements customization as well as measurement

About you

College degree or above, major in electronics or computer-related fields

1-2 years of experience as a TE test engineer/technician in the electronics industry, familiar with ICT testing principles

Familiarity with Teradyne and TRI equipment is preferred

Fluent in both English and Chinese, with proficiency in both languages is preferred
