Job summary

RJ Brothers Empire, based in Kuching, Sarawak, seeks motivated Technicians to join our ELV, ICT, fiber optic and solar energy teams. You will install, test, maintain and troubleshoot diverse systems across sites, working with project teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Fresh graduates and candidates with hands-on experience are welcome. Travel to project sites, a valid driving licence, and a proactive, team-oriented approach are required.

Qualifications

• Must have basic understanding of ELV, ICT, fiber optic or solar energy systems.
• Willingness to travel to different project sites and work independently or in a team.
• Basic problem-solving and technical support skills required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, testing and commissioning of ELV systems (CCTV, access control, alarm, PA).
• Install ICT infrastructure including LAN cabling and network equipment.
• Perform fiber optic cable installation, splicing, OTDR testing and troubleshooting.
• Assist in solar PV system installation, maintenance and related electrical work.
• Conduct site inspections, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

TECHNICIAN – ELV / ICT / FIBER OPTIC / SOLAR ENERGY

RJ Brothers Empire is looking for motivated, responsible and hardworking Technicians to join our growing technical team. We specialize in Extra Low Voltage (ELV), Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Fiber Optic Infrastructure, and Solar Energy Systems. Successful candidates will be involved in installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and technical support for various projects.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out installation, testing and commissioning of ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, alarm and PA systems.
• Perform ICT infrastructure installation, including LAN cabling, network equipment and structured cabling.
• Conduct fiber optic cable installation, splicing, OTDR testing and troubleshooting.
• Assist in solar PV system installation, maintenance and related electrical works.
• Perform site inspections, technical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with supervisors and project teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Prepare basic site reports, documentation and work progress updates.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and project requirements.

About you

• Minimum SPM, Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, Engineering or related fields.
• Candidates with relevant technical experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of ELV, ICT, fiber optic or solar energy systems is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with a willingness to learn are welcome.
• Willing to travel and work at different project sites.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation (preferred).
• Responsible, disciplined and committed to completing assigned tasks.
