Job summary

PureGen Water Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Technical Installer to join our service team in Malaysia. You will install residential and commercial water systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform maintenance on-site, serving as the face of the company at client locations.

Responsibilities include installing pumps and filtration systems, conducting plumbing and basic electrical work, and ensuring leak-free, tidy installations while reporting progress to the Service Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years in plumbing, pump installation, or general building maintenance.
• Competent in basic plumbing tasks (PVC piping, solvent welding).
• Knowledge of single-phase electrical wiring and safe handling of power cables.

Responsibilities

• Install water pumps, filtration systems, and indoor/outdoor filters.
• Perform pipe cutting, jointing, and valve replacements.
• Do basic wiring for water pumps and controls.
• Diagnose water pressure issues and on-site repairs.
• Keep client sites tidy and report job status with photos/digital reports.

We are looking for a hands-on Technical (Installer) to join our service team. You will be responsible for the professional installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of residential and commercial water systems. You are the face of our company on-site, ensuring every installation is leak-free, functional, and tidy.

Key Responsibilities

• System Installation: Install water pumps, outdoor water filtration systems, and indoor point-of-use filters.
• Plumbing Works: Perform pipe cutting, jointing (PVC/PPR/Buteline/Copper), and valve replacements.
• Electrical Connection: Perform basic wiring for water pumps (connecting to power points, pressure switches, and float switches).
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose water pressure issues, leaks, or pump failures and provide on-site repairs.
• Site Management: Maintain a clean workspace at client locations and ensure all tools/materials are accounted for.
• Reporting: Update the Service Coordinator on job status via photos/digital reports upon completion.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in plumbing, pump installation, or general building maintenance.
• Technical Skills:

i- Competent in basic plumbing (PVC pipe solvent welding, threading).

ii- Knowledge of single-phase electrical wiring (safe handling of power cables/water pump control boxes).

• Licenses: Valid Class D (Car) License and GDL (required). Must be comfortable driving a company van.
• Soft Skills: Ability to explain operation/maintenance steps to customers clearly and politely.
• Attitude: Reliable, physically fit, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 8:30 PM (includes 1-hour lunch break)
• Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
