Job summary

SSRV is seeking a dedicated maintenance technician in Kuala Lumpur to perform regular inspections and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and support installation and commissioning of new equipment to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires a technical diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related field, plus at least 2 years in a technician role within facilities management or a similar

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related field.
• Experience in a technician role within facilities management or similar industry is required.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Perform repairs on lighting, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning units.
• Support preventive maintenance programs to ensure longevity and functionality of equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, proposing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Document work completed, parts used, and issues identified in maintenance logs.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems as required.
• Collaborate with other team members to support cross-functional maintenance activities.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to mitigate potential hazards or disruptions.

Education

Electrical work / Mechanical Engineering / HVAC certification
