Total Metering Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to test installations and systems, analyze data, and study specifications of electrical products (hardware and software). The role involves providing day-to-day technical and operational support to the Technical Manager and Technical Department.

Fresh graduates with 1-2 years in electrical engineering are welcome; strong Bahasa Malaysia and English, and good analytical/problem-solving skills are expected.

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or similar qualification.
• Fresh graduate with preferably 1-2 years of working experience in electrical engineering or related fields.
• Good command in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for testing installations and systems, analysing data, and studying specifications and functionality of electrical products (hardware and software) provided by the company. The role involves providing day-to-day technical and operational support to the Technical Manager and Technical Department.

Key responsibilities

• Perform servicing, repairing, troubleshooting, configuration, modification, programming, maintenance, and technical inspections for all electrical and instrument products provided by the company
• Provide technical training, briefing, support, explanation and information on the technicality and proper usage of products and equipment to customers
• Communicate with suppliers on related technical supports, information and issues
• Ensure validity of products and equipment's calibration and modification
• Perform quality assurance and sampling inspection for products and equipment
• Communicate with third party calibrator and laboratory on related products calibration and testing services and issues
• Conduct analysis, study and review for user manual, lab test report and quality control for products and equipment
• Find, recommend and provide solutions for technical problems and feedbacks

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or similar qualification
• Fresh graduate with preferably 1-2 years of working experience in electrical engineering or related fields
• Good command in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Self-motivated, meticulous with good analytical and problem-solving skills
