Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Technician to assist with installation, setup and maintenance of CCTV and security systems. A technical or engineering background is preferred, and those transitioning from related fields are welcome.

Candidates with prior technician experience have an advantage. The role requires on-site work and willingness to travel to project locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Technical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Candidates from a technical/engineering background transitioning into Technician role are welcome.
• Previous technician or relevant technical experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, setup and maintenance of technical systems and equipment.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Assist with CCTV, access control, alarm and security system installation and maintenance.
• Carry out basic cabling, wiring and equipment connections.
• Conduct site inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Follow technical instructions, safety procedures and project requirements.
• Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are properly maintained.
• Perform other technical tasks assigned by the supervisor.
