Job summary

JAGES SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Technician with a Diploma or Certificate in Engineering or related fields.

The role welcomes candidates from a technical/engineering background who are looking to transition into a technician position and values prior hands-on experience. Responsibilities include assisting with installation, testing, CCTV and access control system maintenance, on-site tasks, basic cabling, site inspections, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Technical, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Candidates from technical/engineering background transitioning to Technician role are welcome.
• Previous technician or relevant technical experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of CCTV, security systems, tools and equipment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, setup and maintenance of technical systems and equipment.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Assist with CCTV, access control, alarm and security system installation and maintenance.
• Carry out basic cabling, wiring and equipment connections.
• Conduct site inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Follow technical instructions, safety procedures and project requirements.
• Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are properly maintained.
• Perform other technical tasks as assigned by supervisor.
