Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to support business development and customer service activities. The successful candidate will work closely with customers and suppliers to understand requirements, prepare quotations, and provide suitable engineering or industrial solutions.

The role focuses on building strong relationships, coordinating with internal teams, and staying updated on products and industry needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Engineering, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience in sales, sales engineering, or related field.
• Experience in engineering, industrial, technical, or project-related sales is an advantage.
• Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Dynamic, self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers on sales enquiries, quotations, orders, and project requirements.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers to understand technical and commercial needs.
• Assist in preparing product costing, quotations, proposals, and related sales documents.
• Support the sales process from enquiry through quotation, negotiation, and order follow-up.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely responses and smooth project execution.
• Keep updated on products, applications, and industry requirements.
• Perform other sales and project-related tasks assigned by the supervisor or management.
