Job summary

JAC Recruitment International is hiring for a technical consulting and solution sales role based in Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will engage manufacturing customers across QA, QC, and R&D to propose tailored automation and inspection solutions.

The position targets fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of experience. English and Bahasa Malaysia are required, with Mandarin preferred for Mandarin-speaking customers. Onsite work with regular travel within Malaysia is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; engineering-related fields preferred.
• Fresh graduates or up to 2 years' experience encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin preferred for Mandarin-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative solutions to manufacturing customers in QA, QC, Production Eng., and R&D environments.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal, negotiation and closing.
• Conduct outbound engagement and pre-qualification via phone and other channels.
• Visit customer sites to understand challenges and deliver product demonstrations.
• Perform testing and tailor solutions addressing technical requirements.
• Develop opportunities within territory and achieve sales targets.
• Iterate on sales performance and knowledge through training and teamwork.

• Perform application testing and recommend tailored solutions that address customers' technical requirements.
• Develop and manage business opportunities within an assigned territory while achieving sales targets.
• Continuously enhance sales performance and technical expertise through training, teamwork, and product knowledge development.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in any discipline; Engineering-related fields are preferred.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of working experience are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred to support Mandarin-speaking customers.
• Possess a valid driving license and own transportation for customer visits.
• Able to work onsite at the Bayan Lepas, Penang office and travel regularly within Malaysia.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Immediate availability or short notice candidates will have an added advantage.
