Job Overview

Technically adept Consulting Sales Engineer that will provide technical consulting for specialized solutions across Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), Production Engineering, and R&D functions within diverse manufacturing industries. Able to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and act as a trusted advisor to help clients optimize their operational and testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Sales Management: Execute the complete sales cycle, including lead discovery, solution development, proposal presentation, negotiation, and deal closure.

Technical Solution Consulting: Engage directly with prospective clients to understand their operational and application testing requirements, demonstrating how our products effectively address their needs.

Business Development & Client Engagement: Conduct outbound outreach to qualify leads, schedule consultative appointments, and perform live product demonstrations for end-users.

Territory & Product Line Leadership: Manage and drive revenue growth for designated product lines within your assigned geographical territory.

Performance & Target Achievement: Track, review, and analyze individual sales metrics to consistently meet or exceed performance targets.

Continuous Professional Development: Participate in team strategy sessions and product training to continually refine technical applications knowledge and consultative selling skills.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of technical sales or engineering experience; ambitious fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are welcome to apply.

Language Proficiency: Full working proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred to liaise with overseas Mandarin-speaking clients.

Mobility: Must possess personal transport and be willing to travel frequently across Malaysia for client visits and demonstrations.

Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities with a strong comfort level engaging stakeholders across all organizational levels in manufacturing environments.

Availability: Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred.
