Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an aircraft reliability engineer for a Subang Airport–based role in the aviation industry. The position focuses on implementing reliability programmes, monitoring airworthiness directives, and coordinating aircraft modifications.

With at least 3 years in continuing airworthiness and a degree in engineering, you will work with CAMO processes and ensure conformity to CAAM requirements; Airbus experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Avionics, Aerospace, Aeronautical or equivalent) or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in continuing airworthiness or maintenance organization.
• Knowledge of CAMO operational requirements and CAAM rules.
• Familiar with technical publications and aviation standards.
• Experience with Airbus aircraft and weight data preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a reliability programme for aircraft maintenance.
• Monitor Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and other airworthiness requirements.
• Ensure all modification data is up to date to meet reliability objectives.
• Coordinate aircraft and system modifications.
• Ensure modifications and repairs are carried out to approved standards.
• Manage data recording and analysis from Flight Data Recorder and CVR.
• Develop and maintain Mass and Balance Programme.
• Develop and maintain Flight Test Schedule.
• Assist in MEL development and maintenance.
• Support SPA application and validation.
• Participate in studies/evaluations of new or leased aircraft when applicable.
• Identify training needs.
• Address corrective actions from quality audit findings.

This is a position in the aviation industry based in Subang Airport.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a reliability Programme, engine condition monitoring, evaluate and recommend improvements to support the maintenance of aircraft with regard to time intervals and limits escalation.
• Monitor and review Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Approved Repair Data and other airworthiness requirements.
• Ensure all modification data is up to date to achieve reliability objectives
• Coordinate modification to aircraft and related systems.
• Ensure modifications and repairs (changes) are carried out to an approved standard.
• Dent and buckle control.
• Manage data recording and analysis of Flight Data Recorder and Cockpit Voice Recorder readout
• Develop and maintain Mass and Balance Programme
• Management and control of field-loadable software.
• Develop and maintain Flight Test Schedule
• Assist in developing and maintaining Minimum Equipment List (MEL)
• Field operation engineering supports SPA application and validation.
• When applicable, participates in the specification study and evaluation of new or leased aircraft
• Identify training needs.
• Ensure adequate corrective actions from quality audit findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Avionics, Aerospace, Aeronautical or equivalent) or relevant technical discipline
• Minimum 3 years work experience in continuing airworthiness or maintenance organization
• Knowledgeable in CAMO operational requirements and procedures including aircraft, engine and components State of Design and CAAM requirements
• Familiar with technical publications, regulatory frameworks, and aviation engineering standards
• Experience with Airbus aircraft and aircraft weighing is preferred
