Job Summary
Landas Aerotech Sdn Bhd is looking for qualified and experienced Component Certifying Staff to join our aviation maintenance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing, supervising, inspecting and certifying aircraft or aircraft component maintenance activities within the scope of their valid Company authorisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Certify aircraft or aircraft component maintenance tasks within the approved scope of authorisation.
- Issue authorised release certification or relevant release documentation within the authorised scope.
- Perform inspections and evaluations of maintenance work.
- Ensure maintenance work is completed in accordance with approved maintenance data and applicable procedures.
- Raise and manage discrepancies, defects and non-conformities.
- Complete and maintain maintenance documentation, work orders, technical records and applicable certification documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Notices and other technical requirements.
- Supervise and verify work performed by non-certifying personnel before certification, where applicable.
- Ensure all work meets established quality, safety and airworthiness requirements.
- Report safety hazards, quality issues and non-conformities through the approved reporting process.
- Support technical investigations, customer complaints and warranty-related matters when required.
- Maintain compliance with Company authorisation, training and competency requirements.
Requirements
- Relevant aviation maintenance licence, qualification or technical certification appropriate to the approved scope.
- Relevant experience in aircraft or aircraft component maintenance.
- Eligible to hold or currently holding a valid Company authorisation for the applicable maintenance scope.
- Good knowledge of aircraft or component maintenance procedures and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of applicable aviation regulatory and airworthiness requirements.
- High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Good understanding of quality, safety and human factors requirements.
- Able to work independently and exercise sound technical judgement.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
