Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an experienced Lead Avionics & IFE Engineer to manage Technical Services for aircraft operations and production across ATA chapters. You will drive technical leadership, liaise with CAAM authorities, vendors, and internal teams, and ensure airworthiness and fleet efficiency.

The role requires a degree in Aeronautics & Aerospace, 10+ years in aircraft Avionics & IFE and CAAM DOA/SCE experience, with strong knowledge of CAAM rules and DOA approvals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in aircraft-related engineering or LAE in Avionics/IFE.
• CAAM DOA/SCE experience in Aircraft Avionics/IFE is required.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems relevant to ATA chapters.
• Familiarity with CAAM rules and regulations.
• Familiarity with Design Organization Manual requirements for release/approval of design documents.
• CAAM DOA approval holder for Avionics is required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Technical Services engineering support for aircraft operations and production across assigned ATA chapters.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on Avionics and IFE-related matters.
• Liaise with airworthiness authorities, vendors, overhaul agencies and internal departments on technical matters.
• Ensure aircraft airworthiness and high fleet operational efficiency.
• Manage the administration and daily operations of the Avionics/IFE section.
• Supervise staff and ensure assigned tasks are completed effectively.
• Ensure team members have the appropriate technical skills, training, and knowledge of current methods, procedures, and requirements.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions arising from quality compliance monitoring and audit activities.
• Deputize for the Senior Manager, Technical Services when required.
