• Regulatory compliance experience or education in food/pharma

Responsibilities

• Perform regulatory compliance checks for new/existing products for various markets.
• Maintain and update Product Compliance Portfolio and Master List of Food Regulations.
• Prepare Labelling Info Sheets with ingredient lists, nutrition, net content, and generate label barcodes.
• Review and verify technical label information and artwork.
• Lead label artwork revisions due to regulatory changes and manage related approvals.
• Support Product Registration in target markets (GACC, HCS, BPOM, BFAD) and Halal applications.

Job description

To perform regulatory compliance check for New/Existing product entering existing or new market according to specific Country of Sale.

To continually update and maintain the Product Compliance Portfolio based on the regulatory compliance check conducted on existing and/or new markets and customers.

To continually update and maintain Master List of Food Regulations for Local & Importing Country for up-to-date product and labelling regulatory guidelines and/or requirement.

To provide technical support on product enquiries and technical documentation to internal stakeholders, customers and customs (applicable to export shipment).

To prepare Labelling Info Sheet with R&D inputs on Ingredient list (in descending order), Nutritional info, Net content, and generate label barcode for label artwork development according to specific country labelling regulations.

To review and verify technical information on label & carton artwork, circulate approved FA to factory and attend on-line proofing with the approved FA for label LSD/CTC chart development and approval.

To regularly review product label artworks to ensure compliance with the latest labelling regulations and requirements of the respective countries.

To lead and coordinate projects involving product label artwork revisions arising from regulatory changes, updates, or new compliance requirements.

To prepare Master Packing Summary List & to develop individual product MPL for factory team.

To involve and provide technical support in Packaging Development and Improvement, including working with QA and Logistic team to determine the palletized & shipping configuration and Purchasing team & packaging suppliers in new packaging development or improvement of existing packaging from technical aspects.

To work closely with the Process Validation team on packaging-related validation activities in the factory and actively participate in validation sessions conducted on-site.

To update the active packaging in BKH Packaging Catalogue whenever there is new packaging components introduced; changes in spec for existing packaging or existing packaging phased out from production.

To assist on Product Registration (China GACC, Singapore HCS, Indonesia BPOM, Philippines BFAD) and work with internal Halal Executive on Halal Application on NPD.

To apply and maintain relevant certificate or license for Own Brand product (eg. MUIS, HCS).

To participate as a member of the internal audit team for factory certification audits and support related audit activities.
