Job summary

Randstad Malaysia seeks a capable graduate to join our Kuala Lumpur office as a consultative bridge for electronics manufacturers. You will learn to manage technical material portfolios, coordinate timelines, and advise clients on supply chain solutions.

The role offers on-the-job training, exposure to major industrial hubs across Malaysia from a Kuala Lumpur base, and opportunities to build client relationships with corporate accounts.

Qualifications

• University degree in EE, Electronics or Materials Science or related field.
• Open to high-potential fresh graduates; internship experience valued.
• Up to 2 years of B2B sales or engineering experience is a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn technical product knowledge and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and comfort with corporate entertainment with clients/suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow distribution of semiconductor back-end materials (epoxy moulding compounds, silicone gels, TIMs).
• Build long-term relationships with corporate accounts and learn to approach new electronics manufacturers.
• Assist manufacturing clients with inventory planning, cost simulations, and cross-border shipping terms (Incoterms).
• Learn to manage division credit limits and review customer financial standing for on-time payments.
• Network with regional suppliers and engineering clients over business meals and events.

You will act as a consultative bridge for electronics manufacturers—learning to manage technical material portfolios, coordinate project timelines, and consult clients on supply chain solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the distribution of specialized semiconductor back-end materials, including epoxy moulding compounds, silicone gels, and thermal interface materials.
• Build long-term relationships with existing corporate accounts while learning to spot and approach new electronics manufacturers.
• Assist manufacturing clients with inventory planning, cost simulations, and volatile cross-border shipping terms (Incoterms).
• Learn to manage division credit limits, review customer financial standing, and ensure on-time payment collections.
• Network and build strong bonds with regional suppliers and engineering clients over business lunches and dinners.

Skills & Experience Required

• A University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
• Open to high-potential fresh graduates! Prior internship experience as an Electrical or Electronics Engineer is highly valued.
• Up to 2 years of B2B sales or engineering experience is a plus, but passion for technical sales is what matters most.
• Strong ability to pick up technical chemical/electronic product knowledge quickly and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills, and fully comfortable with corporate entertainment (lunches/dinners) with clients and suppliers.
