Job summary

Kum Hoi Engineering Industries Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented administrator to support documentation, purchasing liaison, and production planning activities. The role involves updating Bills of Material, verifying PO details against sales quotes, and maintaining strong client relations.

The successful candidate should be well-versed in English, have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field (basic CAD reading skills in AutoCAD/SolidWorks), and be comfortable using

• Must be well-versed in English
• Must have basic knowledge in using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist superior in documentation work and administrative tasks
• Liaise with Purchasing on material information & price
• Liaise with Production Planning on product planning and status
• Update and create Bill of Materials as needed
• Ensure Purchase Orders from customers match sales quotations
• Record distribution of customer control copy drawings to Document Control Center
• Handle customer inquiries and consult with concerned departments
• Carry out other tasks assigned by superior
• Maintain client relations

Job description

Responsible to assist superior in documentation work and administrative stuff

Responsible to assist superior to liaise with Purchasing on material information & material price

Responsible to assist superior to liaise with Production Planning Coordinator on product's planning and production status

Responsible to assist superior to update and create Bill of Material from time to time

To assist superior to ensure detail of Purchase Order received from customer matched the sales quotation

To record distribution of customer's control copy drawing to Document Control Center

Responsible to handle customer enquiries and consult with the concerned department if necessary

Carry out any other task assigned by superior from time to time

Maintaining client relations.

Must be well-versed in English

Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering courses (basic knowledge in Autocad/Solidwork/reading drawing)

Must have basic knowledge in using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.

Experience in Engineering/ Manufacturing line will be advantage.

Display a positive attitude, friendly personality, ability to interact with various groups/levels of people, willing to learn for self-improvement and have good attention to details.
