Job summary

Kum Hoi Engineering Industries in Subang Jaya is seeking a junior documentation and admin assistant to support engineering and production teams. The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field and basic knowledge of AutoCAD/SolidWorks, drawing reading, and MS Office.

You will help with purchase orders, material info, BOM updates, and liaise with Purchasing and Production Planning. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; strong English and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be well-versed in English.
• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge in AutoCAD/SolidWorks and reading drawings.
• Basic knowledge in using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist superior in documentation and administrative tasks.
• Liaise with Purchasing on material information and pricing.
• Liaise with Production Planning on product planning and status.
• Update and create Bill of Materials as needed.
• Ensure Purchase Orders match sales quotations.
• Record distribution of drawings to Document Control Center.
• Handle customer inquiries and consult with relevant departments.
• Carry out other tasks assigned by superior.
• Maintain client relations.

• Must have basic knowledge in using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibility

• Responsible to assist superior in documentation work and administrative stuff
• Responsible to assist superior to liaise with Purchasing on material information & material price
• Responsible to assist superior to liaise with Production Planning Coordinator on product's planning and production status
• Responsible to assist superior to update and create Bill of Material from time to time
• To assist superior to ensure detail of Purchase Order received from customer matched the sales quotation
• To record distribution of customer's control copy drawing to Document Control Center
• Responsible to handle customer enquiries and consult with the concerned department if necessary
• Carry out any other task assigned by superior from time to time
• Maintaining client relations.
