Job summary

TKR Engineering Sdn Bhd seeks a Technical Manager to drive technical governance, engineering quality and operational readiness for drilling, completion, and Coiled Tubing services in Sabah, Malaysia. You will review programmes, verify deliverables, lead risk assessments and provide field support with safety and efficiency in mind.

The role requires 8+ years in drilling/completion/Coiled Tubing operations, strong leadership, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

Education: Degree, Master’s or PhD in Petroleum, Mechanical, Drilling or related Engineering discipline.
Minimum eight (8) years of direct drilling, completion or Coiled Tubing ops experience.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
Strong knowledge of drilling, completion, Coiled Tubing operations, well barriers and well control.

Responsibilities

Provide technical governance for drilling, completion and Coiled Tubing services.
Review well programmes, calculations, equipment configurations and acceptance criteria.
Lead risk assessments and support field operations with engineering input.
Coordinate readiness reviews, equipment, spares and technical support for operations.
Monitor service quality, maintenance and reliability; implement corrective actions.
