Job summary

ONNEC Group in Malaysia is seeking a Technical Manager - Cutsheets to govern, validate and approve product specification documents across projects. You will ensure material and system selections meet design requirements and industry standards, coordinating with Design, Procurement and Project Delivery teams.

The role emphasizes detailed document control, stakeholder management and the ability to drive standardisation of cutsheet templates and processes across regions and data centre deployments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical, design or engineering roles within data centres, structured cabling, construction or MEP environments.
• Experience reviewing technical documentation, specifications and submittals including data sheets and cutsheets.
• Strong understanding of structured cabling systems and data centre components.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate cutsheets against project design specs, client requirements and standards.
• Own preparation and quality of technical submittal packages with version control.
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement and Project Delivery to align cutsheets, BOMs and installations.
• Develop templates, naming conventions and document standards for consistency.
• Liaise with manufacturers to obtain up-to-date cutsheets and resolve discrepancies.
