Job summary

ONNEC Group is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations on a data centre construction site in Kuala Lumpur. You will act as the on-site lead, coordinating with clients, engineering teams and vendors to maintain uptime, safety and compliance.

You will oversee planned preventive maintenance and reactive works, manage suppliers and contractors, and ensure documentation, records and asset registers are kept up to date while meeting health & safety

Qualifications

• Experience in large construction site environments and data centres.
• Proven experience managing contractors and vendors in live environments.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicator with client-facing experience.
• Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works.
• Act as the primary client interface, providing updates, reporting, and escalation.
• Manage suppliers, contractors, and specialist vendors ensuring compliance and safety.
• Maintain documentation, compliance records, and asset registers.
• Ensure all activities meet health & safety, compliance, and service standards.
