IJM Corporation Berhad in Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia, seeks a civil engineer to lead CSA technical activities for semiconductor manufacturing and mission-critical projects, covering design review, construction support, and handover.

You will review civil, structural, and architectural drawings, coordinate with clients, consultants, and M&E teams, and deliver technical solutions for constructability and site queries at the Kulim site.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing facilities or mission-critical projects is an advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil, structural and architectural works for complex industrial or commercial buildings.
• Proven experience in design reviews, technical submissions, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Willing to be based full-time at the project site in Kulim, Kedah.

Responsabilidades

• Lead CSA technical activities for semiconductor manufacturing and mission-critical projects, covering design review, construction support, and handover.
• Review civil, structural, and architectural drawings, designs, technical submissions, and material specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and M&E teams to resolve technical issues, design discrepancies, and multidisciplinary coordination matters.
• Provide technical solutions for site queries, design changes, constructability issues, and construction challenges.
• Review foundations, reinforced concrete works, steel structures, architectural finishes, and building envelope details to ensure constructability and compliance.
• Review method statements, material submissions, and RFIs related to CSA works.
• Identify technical risks and design conflicts, recommend corrective measures, and support site teams in resolving issues.
• Participate in technical meetings, design coordination sessions, and project reviews to ensure alignment between design requirements and site execution.

Provide technical solutions for site queries, design changes, constructability issues, and construction challenges.

Review foundations, reinforced concrete works, steel structures, architectural finishes, and building envelope details to ensure constructability and compliance with approved designs.

Review method statements, material submissions, and Requests for Information (RFIs) related to CSA works.

Identify technical risks and design conflicts, recommend corrective measures, and support site teams in resolving issues.

Participate in technical meetings, design coordination sessions, and project reviews to ensure alignment between design requirements and site execution.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.

Preferred relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing and mission-critical projects

Strong technical knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural works for complex industrial or commercial building projects.

Proven experience in design reviews, technical submissions, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Experience in semiconductor manufacturing facilities or other mission-critical projects is an advantage.

Strong understanding of construction methods, constructability, structural systems, and technical compliance.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Willing to be based full-time at the project site in Kulim, Kedah.
