Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced Production Support lead to oversee daily operations for core banking and payment platforms in Kuala Lumpur. You will drive production stability and coordinate with L2/L3 engineering teams to minimize downtime.

The role emphasizes incident and problem management, RCA, stakeholder communication, release readiness, and post-deployment coordination, with a focus on data-driven improvements and operational hygiene.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10+ years in application or production support for banking/payment systems.
• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting, architecture/integration understanding, and ITIL expertise (Incident, Problem, Change).
• Experience coordinating with development teams, QA, and third‑party vendors/payment networks.
• Ability to stay calm and decisive during high‑pressure live incidents.

Responsibilities

• Drive Production Stability: oversee daily support activities to maximize uptime and minimize disruption for core banking and payment platforms.
• Incident & Problem Management: own incident triage, lead rapid issue resolution with L2/L3 teams, and perform root-cause analysis (RCA).
• Business & Stakeholder Bridge: interface with business users, provide updates, and manage escalations.
• Release & Deployment Support: validate production releases, ensure pre-deployment readiness, and coordinate post-deployment cutovers.
• Continuous Optimization: implement automated runbooks, track system health metrics, and streamline operational workflows.
