Job summary

Technical Engineer (Senior Engineer to Manager Level)

Assist to provide design inputs, value engineering in proposals, tenders and projects.

Handle design analysis and checking of consultants’ design calculations, drawings and reports. Prepare reports and design calculations with the consultant team for submission.

Assist to coordinate technical design matters and design management related activities among consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, specialists, surveyors, working team members and other relevant parties for proposals, tenders, projects as and when required. To ensure quality objective, cost requirement and time target are met, smooth progress of all activities are done effectively, comprehensively and meeting the requirements.

To participate in projects during design and construction stage as and when required. To provide technical support and proposals to project teams on design and coordination of technical design matters and ensure the proposals / designs are in compliance with the requirements of the local authorities and the code of practice.

Prepare presentation for technical design related subjects as and when required.

Provide support to integrate the organization's business processes with users and the Management to determine the organizational needs and requirements on Virtual Design & Construction (VDC).

Provide support in managing process engineering, VDC systems customization and to ensure sustainable quality of VDC implementation. To continuously focus in research and development (R&D) in exploring new innovative ideas to ensure continuous improvement of VDC.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related field
