Job summary

VISKOU TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. in JB, Malaysia, is seeking a motivated Technical Engineer to support Pre-Sales and Post-Sales activities, deliver technical consultations, and propose IT solutions for customers.

Based in JB, the role requires strong networking knowledge, Windows Server familiarity, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting. Fresh graduates are welcome; travel for onsite support may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Networking or related discipline with average GPA 3.0 or above.
• Fresh graduates welcome; 1–3 years' experience advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, VLAN, VPN, Wireless).
• Familiar with Windows Server and network troubleshooting.
• CCNA or other Cisco certifications are an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to travel for onsite support when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation and recommend suitable IT solutions based on customer requirements.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and Proof of Concept (POC).
• Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, and documentation.
• Work closely with the Sales team during customer meetings.
• Install, configure, and maintain networking and IT infrastructure solutions.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Perform system testing, commissioning, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Conduct user training when required.
• Ensure projects are completed within schedule and customer expectations.
